Note: These calculators were created using Google Sheets. The sharing permissions are set, such that anyone with the link can view the sheet; however, in order to use the sheet, you will need to copy the calculator to your Google Drive. This was done so that I cannot see your financial information.

2020

In 2020, withholding allowances are not longer used in calculating your total tax contribution; however, this only applies if you started your current job in 2020, and if you submitted a 2020 IRS W-4 form, or if you started your current job prior to 2020, but were asked to fill out a 2020 IRS W-4 tax form. Otherwise, if you started your job prior to 2020, and did not fill out a 2020 IRS W-4 tax form, you are grandfathered into the pre-2020 method of withholding taxes, which utilizes withholding allowances for calculating your total tax contribution, but has 2020 tax withholding figures.
