Engineering Services

Background

EEmaginations offers a wide variety of engineering services, but before exploring those services, let me tell you about my professional background.

I am alum of the University of South Florida, where I received my Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Upon graduating, I began my career as an engineer in the aviation industry. Companies I have worked for include Jabil, GE, and Northrop Grumman Corporation. I am a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Florida.

My professional experiences range from hardware and software integration at the avionics box level, to hardware and software integration at the vehicle system level. I have led and supported multiple military and commercial aviation programs, and have served as the subject matter expert over many types of avionics:

  • Networking Hardware, Computers, Data Concentrators, ARINC Converters/Transmitters/Receivers, Encryptors, Radios and Antenna Systems

I author and execute bench test procedures, produce technical reports and white papers, and produce many other types of technical, program documentation for internal and external customers. As a lead engineer, I have managed and served as the primary interface between my functional department (electrical hardware/software integration department) and all of our internal/external stakeholders throughout the program lifecycle:

  • US Military and other Government Contractors, Program Management, Internal/External Supply Chain, Logistics, Vehicle Engineering, Manufacturing, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Quality, Subcontractor Management

I have also participated in budgetary estimates and technical trade studies for the capture of future programs for multiple aerospace platforms.

My technical experience also reaches into the realm of algorithm development, where I have extensive experience leveraging tools like MATLAB. In this arena, I have simplified code, increased speed of code execution, translated algorithms between programming/scripting languages, and have created algorithms to process and fuse vast amounts of data in different formats (binary/ASCII).
